Job summary

Adler Talent Solutions Pvt Ltd is seeking a Chartered Accountant with 10–15 years of post-qualification experience to lead the Finance & Accounts function in Chennai. You will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, treasury, tax and statutory compliance, while partnering with leadership to drive growth and profitability.

Responsibilities include close, MIS and dashboards, ERP governance, automation, and building a high-performing finance team.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 10–15 years of post-qualification experience.
• Strong experience across financial accounting, reporting, FP&A, taxation, treasury, audit and financial controls.
• Experience in Real Estate, Construction, Infrastructure or Manufacturing preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of Ind AS, GST, Income Tax, Companies Act and statutory compliance.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, MIS, cash-flow and working capital management.
• Strong exposure to ERP systems, financial automation and process improvement.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial analysis.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• High commercial acumen, analytical ability, integrity and attention to detail.
• Ability to operate as a business partner to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Finance & Accounts function and ensure accurate, timely and compliant accounting and reporting.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual close and reporting.
• Drive MIS, management reports, financial analysis and business performance dashboards.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Monitor actuals against budgets and provide variance analysis and forward-looking insights.
• Partner with business leaders to evaluate financial implications of key decisions and initiatives.
• Oversee cash-flow planning, treasury operations and fund utilisation.
• Manage GST, TDS, Income Tax and statutory compliance.
• Coordinate with external tax advisors and consultants where required.
• Lead statutory, internal, tax and other financial audits.
• Strengthen financial controls, accounting policies, approval mechanisms and risk management.
• Identify control gaps and ensure timely corrective and preventive action.
• Ensure effective utilisation and governance of ERP and financial systems.
• Drive automation, process standardisation and continuous improvement.
• Lead, mentor and develop the Finance team and establish clear accountability

Role & responsibilities

To lead and oversee the Finance & Accounts function with responsibility for financial reporting, planning and analysis, taxation, statutory compliance, treasury, cash-flow management, internal controls and audit. • Financial Management & Reporting
  • Lead the Finance & Accounts function, ensuring accurate, timely and compliant accounting and reporting.
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing and reporting.
  • Drive MIS, management reports, financial analysis and business performance dashboards.
• Budgeting, Planning & Business Partnering
  • Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.

• Treasury & Working Capital

  • Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act and applicable statutory requirements.
  • Oversee tax assessments, notices and filings.
  • Coordinate with external tax advisors and consultants where required.
