Job summary

KatalAiser, Mumbai-based company, is seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant with 5+ years post-CA to steward financial reporting and controls. The role focuses on timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closure, statutory/regulatory compliance, and coordinating with auditors and stakeholders.

The candidate will prepare financial statements, MIS, schedules, and management reports; strengthen controls and support budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory disclosures.

Qualifications

• CA qualification is mandatory.
• 5+ years post-qualification experience in Financial Reporting / Financial Accounting.
• Strong knowledge of Ind AS / IFRS and financial statement preparation.
• Experience handling month-end/year-end closing and statutory audits.
• Excellent analytical and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and ensure timely closure.
• Prepare and review financial statements, MIS, schedules, and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with Ind AS / IFRS and applicable accounting standards.
• Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and external stakeholders.

• Identify accounting issues and provide solutions with Finance leadership.
• Strengthen financial controls and reporting processes.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting as required.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Companies Act and financial reporting regulations.
• Lead and mentor junior finance team members.

• Strong knowledge of general accounting, reconciliations, provisions, and financial controls.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience in a large corporate, listed company, Big 4, or financial services organization is preferred.
