Job summary

Ninjacart Bengaluru seeks a Chartered Accountant to lead and manage the company’s financial operations, including accounting under Ind AS and consolidation for group entities.

You will drive internal controls, implement process improvements, and oversee ERP projects, MIS reports, and statutory audits with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with accountability for results.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA with 0-2 years of experience in finance and accounting, R2R processes and accounting principles (IND AS transition/SAP ERP experience is a plus).
• Experienced in setting up and verifying effectiveness of internal controls.
• Experienced in setting up and implementing process improvements, standardization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skill.
• Ability to work in fast paced environment.
• Strong analytical, communication, and multi-tasking skills.
• Team handling as well as Individual contributor role.
• Big 4 experience would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Managing all financial operations of the company.
• To Develop/manage processes for accounting and reporting under Ind AS.
• Ensuring accounting books and ledgers are properly maintained and updated;
• Preparing financial reports of the Group, including standalone, subsidiaries and consolidated financial statements under Ind AS on a monthly and annual basis.
• Leading the annual statutory / tax / due diligence / other audits of the Group entities on the ground and ensuring that timelines explained are adhered
• Responsible for implementation, monitoring, and auditing of the ICOFR including GITC and ITAC controls
• Technical expert for the various existing and potential accounting matters. Lead the stakeholders relationship with external technical consultants, statutory auditors and investors on preparation, finalization and reporting of accounting memos across various matters.
• Leading the monthly MIS-FS preparation and reporting to the stakeholders
• Leading the cost review and reporting.
• Leading the finance automation and ERP implementation charter for the Group
• Leading the SOP implementations across the processes and its adherence by timely review.
• Leading the Insurance charter for the Group
