Job summary

The candidate should have 3–6 years of general insurance experience, Graduation or professional degree, and desirable insurance certification. Willingness to travel and lead a sales team is expected.

Qualifications

• Total 3-6 years of experience in general insurance.
• Preferably experience in agency management and field sales.
• Graduation or higher with insurance certifications is desirable.

Responsibilities

• To achieve the overall budget assigned for the fiscal year.
• Multi-line budget achievement.
• Meet budget targets periodically and annually.
• Ensure service excellence standards and timely issuance of policies.
• Monitor claim settlements within agreed TAT.
• Recruit and appoint agents for Gen Ins business.
• Coach agents to cross-sell and grow business.
• Ensure IRDA licensing and commission payments compliance.
• Train agents on products, processes and USP of the company.

3. Maintaining Hygiene – Cheque Bounce & Receivables

7. Manage the daily activity of producers to ensure strong pipeline.


8. Coach & guide agents to cross sell and grow their business


9. Make individual agents grow Year On Year


10. Ensuring IRDA compliance regarding licensing & commission payments to agents


11. Responsible for ensuring quality of applications


12. Support/guide the producer in all activities related policy services


13. To recruit and appoint agents for Gen Ins business


14. Train agents on products, process and USP’s of Co.

Achieve 100% of Budget- periodically and annually.

Service Excellence

Goal 1: Service excellence standards to be met

Measure 1: Issuance of policies within 7 days

Measure 2: Refunds within 10 days Measure 3: Quotes 48 hours within branch authority

Goal 2: Ensuring & monitoring claim settlements with agreed TAT

Measure 1: Within 7 days of receipt of all documentation
