Job summary

Peoplecraft Consultancy Surat seeks a seasoned B2B sales professional to identify new business opportunities in architectural interiors, modular furniture, and related sectors. You will build relationships with architects and developers, coordinate with design and production teams, and drive conversions from enquiries to orders.

You will manage proposals, presentations, and negotiations, while maintaining a healthy sales pipeline and meeting monthly targets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 25 years of experience in B2B sales / business development, preferably in manufacturing, fabrication, interiors, modular furniture, architectural products, or engineering products.
  • Strong understanding of the B2B sales cycle and lead conversion process.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand technical/product requirements and communicate them to clients and internal teams.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, email, and CRM tools.
  • Strong follow-up and relationship-management skills.
  • Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.
  • A valid driving licence and willingness to travel will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in architectural interiors, modular furniture, metal products, fabrication, and construction sectors.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, online platforms, exhibitions, market visits, and industry contacts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with architects, interior designers, contractors, builders, developers, consultants, and corporate clients.
  • Coordinate with design, estimation, production, and project teams to develop suitable solutions.
  • Prepare and present company profiles, product presentations, quotations, proposals, and commercial offers.
  • Conduct client meetings, site visits, product presentations, and project discussions.
  • Follow up on enquiries, quotations, negotiations, and pending orders.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales and business development targets.
  • Identify upcoming projects and track from enquiry to order closure.
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline and update CRM records.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of confirmed orders.
  • Collect market intelligence on competitors, pricing, products, and industry trends.
  • Develop new accounts while maintaining relationships with existing clients.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments in coordination with accounts.
  • Prepare regular reports on enquiries, leads, meetings, sales pipeline, conversions, and revenue.
  • Represent the company at exhibitions, trade events, client meetings, and industry networking events.
