Job summary

Tata Capital is seeking a Microfinance Sales Officer to drive disbursement targets while maintaining low delinquency. The role involves identifying JLG groups, expanding regional reach, and building strong client relationships in assigned territories.

The ideal candidate has graduate education with exposure to microfinance sales and a basic understanding of JLG models. Freshers are welcome and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a graduate degree and willingness to work in microfinance.
• Fresher to experienced candidate with microfinance sales exposure.
• Knowledge of JLG model preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve disbursement targets with minimum delinquency.
• Identify Joint Liability Groups and disbursed loans.
• Lead and manage sales teams for regional reach.
• Assess potential client base and expansion opportunities.
• Manage disbursement, repayment and delinquency; meet collection targets.
• Follow up on delayed payments and monitor portfolio quality.
• Conduct field visits, center meetings, and loan applicant screening.
• Maintain portfolio quality by tracking dues, non-starters, and frauds.
• Build strong client relationships and brand presence.
• Conduct weekly/daily center meetings.
• Freshers to experienced candidates welcome.
• Basic understanding of microfinance and JLG model preferred.

Job description

• To ensure the achievement of disbursement targets with minimum delinquency
• Identifying Joint liability Groups disbursed loans, to suit the target customers and geographies.
• Enabling business growth by developing and managing a teams across assigned territories for deeper market penetration and reach.
• Assess potential client base and product acceptability in new regions, areas opportunities for geographical expansion of operational areas.
• Disbursement, repayment and delinquency management, achieving daily / weekly collections targets
• Makes a close follow up of the disbursed loans, especially of the ones not paying on time.
• Undertake regular field visits, Centre Meeting and loan applicants
• Maintaining portfolio quality by tracking controlling Normal dues, Nonstarters, Delinquency, Frauds.
• Build strong client relationships both internally and externally and build a strong brand identification with potential customers.
• Ensuring weekly / daily meetings visit to centre
