Job summary

Bajaj Finance Limited is seeking an experienced branch professional to lead day-to-day operations in Thane, ensuring profitability and compliant processes across all activities.

You will drive field-marketing, enhance customer acquisition and retention, supervise staff, and coordinate with the Vault team for pledged assets while expanding gold loan business and related products.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of relevant experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree/Post-graduation Degree preferred.
• Gold loan banking experience preferred.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall branch operations and profitability of the branch.
• Drive and participate in field-marketing activities to improve brand visibility.
• Plan, conduct, and monitor field-level marketing to generate leads and growth.
• Focus on customer acquisition and retention.
• Valuation appraisal of pledged gold ornaments with accuracy and compliance.
• Joint custodian of the Vault for safekeeping of pledged securities.
• Keep NPAs under control through follow-ups for interest collections.
• Plan for smooth branch functioning and team cohesion.
• Hire, coach, mentor, train employees and provide timely feedback.
• Prepare reports and take actions for branch growth.
• Increase Gold Loan business and other products such as NCDs and Gold Coins.

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall branch operations and performance profitability of the branch.
• Drive and participate in field-marketing activities of various financial products along with the team to improve brand visibility.
• Plan, conduct, and monitor the branch field-level marketing activities to ensure a healthy pipeline of leads resulting in business conversion and branch growth.
• Focus on customer engagement for new customer acquisitions and retention of old customers.
• Conducting error-free valuation appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight and purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance.
• Joint custodian of the Vault with responsibility for safekeeping of pledged securities as per company policies.
• Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow-ups from the customers for interest collections.
• Good planning abilities are required for smooth functioning of the branch for developing cohesiveness within the company and co-workers.
• Hiring, coaching, mentoring and training employees and providing them with timely feedback on their performance.
• Maintaining quality performance of the business, preparing various reports of the same and take necessary actions for growth of business in branch.
• Increase Gold Loan business, plus various other third-party products i.e., NCDs, Gold Coins sale etc.
• Responsible for correct valuation maintenance of 100% process compliance at branch.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 4-7 years of relevant experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree/Post-graduation Degree preferred.
• Previous experience in gold loan banking, gold loan products, management or client service preferred.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
