Job summary

Bajaj Finance Limited is seeking a Branch Manager/Officer to oversee daily branch operations, drive gold loan and other product sales, and ensure compliance. The role involves field marketing, customer engagement, and team coaching to grow the branch's profitability.

The candidate should have 4–7 years of relevant experience with strong communication and client service skills, and a Bachelor's or higher degree. Prior gold loan experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch operations, performance and profitability.

• Plan and monitor branch and field marketing to ensure healthy lead pipeline.
• Focus on customer engagement for new acquisitions and retention.
• Valuation and appraisal of gold ornaments with accuracy per policy and audit compliance.
• Joint custodian of the Vault with responsibility of safekeeping pledged securities.
• Keep NPAs in control through follow-ups for interest collections.
• Hire, coach, mentor and train employees with timely feedback.
• Prepare reports and take actions for branch growth.
• Increase gold loan business and third-party products (NCDs, Gold Coins).
• Ensure 100% process compliance at branch.

Job Purpose

This position is open with Bajaj Finance Limited.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall branch operations, performance & profitability of the branch.
• Drive & participate in field-marketing activities of various financial products along with the team to improve brand visibility.
• Plan, conduct & monitor the branch & field level marketing activities to ensure health pipeline of leads resulting into business conversion & branch growth.
• Focus on customer engagement for new customer acquisitions & retainment of old customers.
• Conducting error free valuation & appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight & purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance.
• Joint custodian of the Vault with responsibility of safekeeping of pledged securities as per company policies.
• Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow-ups from the customers for interest collections.
• Good planning abilities are required for smooth functioning of the branch & for developing cohesiveness within the company and co-workers.
• Hiring, coaching, mentoring and training employees and providing them with timely feedback on their performance.
• Maintaining quality & performance of the business, preparing various reports of the same and take necessary actions for growth of business in branch.
• Increase Gold Loan business, plus various other third-party products i.e., NCDs, Gold Coins sale etc.
• Responsible for correct valuation & maintenance of 100% process compliance at branch.
• Manage error free valuation & appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight & purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance.
