Job summary

Bajaj Finserv Limited in Maharashtra seeks a Branch Operations Lead to drive performance, profitability and compliance at the branch level. You will oversee daily operations, authorise gold loan valuations, and coordinate with the field team to maintain a strong leads pipeline and customer engagement.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of relevant experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree / Post-graduation Degree preferred.
• Previous experience in gold loan banking, gold loan products, management or client service preferred.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall branch operations, performance & profitability.
• Drive field marketing activities to improve brand visibility.
• Plan and monitor branch and field marketing to ensure health pipeline of leads and business growth.
• Focus on customer engagement for new acquisitions and retention of existing customers.
• Conduct accurate valuation and appraisal of pledged gold ornaments per policy and compliance.
• Joint custodian of the Vault with safekeeping of pledged securities as per policy.
• Keep NPAs in control through strong follow-ups for interest collections.
• Hire, coach, mentor and train employees; provide timely performance feedback.
• Prepare reports and take actions for branch growth and quality performance.
• Increase gold loan business and related products (NCDs, gold coins).
• Maintain 100% process compliance at the branch.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall branch operations,performance & profitability of the branch.
• Drive & participate in field-marketing activities of various financial products along with the team to improve brand visibility
• Plan,conduct & monitor the branch & field level marketing activities to ensure health pipeline of leads resulting into business conversion & branch growth
• Focus on customer engagement for new customer acquisitions & retainment of old customers
• Conducting error free valuation & appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight & purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance
• Joint custodian of the Vault with responsibility of safekeeping of of pledged securities as per company policies
• Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow-ups from the customers for interest collections
• Good planning abilities are required for smooth functioning of the branch & for developing cohesiveness within the company and co-workers.
• Hiring, coaching, mentoring and training employees and providing them with timely feedback on their performance
• Maintaining quality & performance of the business, preparing various reports of the same and take necessary actions for growth of business in branch
• Increase Gold Loan business, plus various other third-party products i.e., NCD''s, Gold Coins sale etc.
• Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow-ups from the customers for interest collections.
• Responsible for correct valuation & maintenance of 100% process compliance at branch.
• Manage error free valuation & appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight & purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance.
