Job summary

Bajaj finance limited seeks a branch operations leader to drive profitability, customer engagement, and growth of gold loan products at the Gujarat branch. You will manage field marketing, staff coaching, vault custody, and compliance while focusing on pipeline health and NPAs control.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and reporting capabilities to achieve branch targets and expand cross-sell of products. Previous gold loan experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of relevant experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree/Post-graduation Degree preferred.
• Previous experience in gold loan banking, gold loan products, management or client service preferred.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall branch operations and profitability.

• Plan and monitor field marketing to ensure healthy lead pipeline and branch growth.
• Enhance customer engagement for new acquisitions and retention of existing customers.
• Maintain vault custody and ensure compliance with company policies and audits.
• Drive reduction of NPAs through proactive follow-ups and collections.
• Mentor and train branch staff, providing timely feedback.
• Prepare reports on branch performance and implement growth actions.
• Grow gold loan business and cross-sell third-party products (NCDs, gold coins).

Job Purpose

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall branch operations, performance profitability of the branch.
• Drive/participate in field-marketing activities of various financial products along with the team to improve brand visibility.
• Plan, conduct, monitor the branch field level marketing activities to ensure healthy pipeline of leads resulting into business conversion branch growth.
• Focus on customer engagement for new customer acquisitions and retainment of old customers.
• Conducting error free valuation appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance.
• Joint custodian of the Vault with responsibility of safekeeping of pledged securities as per company policies.
• Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow-ups from the customers for interest collections.
• Good planning abilities are required for smooth functioning of the branch for developing cohesiveness within the company and co-workers.
• Hiring, coaching, mentoring and training employees and providing them with timely feedback on their performance.
• Maintaining quality performance of the business, preparing various reports of the same and take necessary actions for growth of business in branch.
• Increase Gold Loan business, plus various other third-party products i.e., NCDs, Gold Coins sale etc.
