Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Bench Sales Recruiter to market and place IT consultants on bench with suitable contract opportunities in the US IT staffing market. The recruiter will be responsible for consultant marketing, vendor relationship management, requirement gathering, profile submissions, rate negotiation, interview coordination, and successful placements.
Key Responsibilities
- Market and promote W2/C2C bench consultants to Tier-1 vendors, implementation partners, staffing companies, and direct clients.
- Build, maintain, and expand relationships with US IT recruiters, vendors, MSPs, and implementation partners.
- Identify suitable job requirements through Dice, LinkedIn, Indeed, Monster, CareerBuilder, TechFetch, and vendor networks.
- Analyze job descriptions and match consultant skills, experience, location, work authorization, and availability with requirements.
- Submit consultant profiles quickly and accurately to maximize interview opportunities.
- Negotiate bill rates, pay rates, contract terms, and work arrangements with vendors.
- Obtain rate confirmations and RTR/representation confirmations before submission when required.
- Maintain and regularly update consultant hotlists, resumes, availability, visa/work authorization, skills, and contact information.
- Coordinate technical interviews and communicate interview details to consultants.
- Follow up with vendors and recruiters for interview feedback, status updates, and next steps.
- Maintain daily records of requirements, submissions, interviews, offers, placements, and closures.
- Work closely with recruiters, account managers, sales teams, and management to achieve placement targets.
- Develop long-term vendor relationships and generate recurring requirements.
- Keep up with current US IT market trends, technologies, contract rates, and demand.
- Support consultants through onboarding, background verification, documentation, and joining formalities.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in US IT Bench Sales / IT Staffing preferred.
- Strong understanding of the US IT staffing and recruitment lifecycle.
- Experience marketing consultants to Tier-1 vendors, prime vendors, implementation partners, and direct clients.
- Good knowledge of W2, C2C, 1099, C2H and common US work-authorizations.
- Strong understanding of IT technologies such as Java, .NET, Data Engineering, Cloud, DevOps, Salesforce, SAP, Workday, QA, AI/ML, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation, follow-up, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work in a target-driven and fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of job portals and LinkedIn.
- Good organizational and multitasking skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Existing network of US IT vendors/recruiters.
- Experience working with MSPs/VMS platforms.
- Experience handling multiple bench consultants simultaneously.
- Proven record of generating interviews and placements.
- Knowledge of US staffing compliance and documentation.

Education
Bachelor's degree preferred. Relevant US IT staffing/bench sales experience may be considered in lieu of specific educational requirements.
