Job summary

3i Infotech in Kolkata is hiring an Engineer - Desktop Support to handle desktop and peripheral maintenance, OS installation and network troubleshooting. The role includes both on-site and remote end-user support in rotational shifts.

You will manage user accounts, assist with password resets, and coordinate with vendors for repairs while maintaining asset records and adhering to IT security standards.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience with desktop/laptop hardware troubleshooting.
• Proficient in Windows 10/11 installation, configuration and basic support.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
• Experience with Active Directory user management and permissions.
• Experience in setting up and troubleshooting printers and peripheral devices.
• Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; able to handle multiple requests.

Key Responsibilities
