Qualifications

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 desktop and technical support to users.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows desktops/laptops.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues involving desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
• Install and configure software, applications, drivers, and security updates.
• Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, Internet, and basic network connectivity issues.
• Manage user accounts, password resets, and basic access-related issues.
• Support Microsoft Office 365/Office applications, Outlook, Teams, and related tools.
• Perform OS installation, system imaging, patching, and routine maintenance.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to printers and other IT peripherals.
• Maintain IT asset and inventory records.
• Log, track, and close incidents/requests using an IT ticketing system.
• Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate infrastructure or application teams.
• Follow IT security, backup, access-control, and company IT policies.
• Prepare basic technical documentation and maintain troubleshooting records.

Required Skills

• 1.5-2 years of experience in Desktop Support / IT Support / Technical Support.
• Good knowledge of Windows 10/11 troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory and user/group management.
• Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office/Office 365 and Outlook.
• Knowledge of desktop/laptop hardware troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting printers and other peripherals.
• Familiarity with IT ticketing/helpdesk tools.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to provide both remote and on-site support.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
