Job summary

Beck & Pollitzer Engineering is seeking an Assistant Manager Learning & Development with 5-7 years of experience to identify training needs, develop technical and behavioral programs, and coordinate across project sites. The role emphasizes skill development and maintaining training records.

The incumbent will work with Project Managers, Site Managers, HR, and functional teams to close skill gaps, deliver induction programs, and track impact using MIS dashboards.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in Learning & Development / Training.
• Mechanical Engineering / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Experience in project execution, industrial installation, manufacturing, engineering, EPC, or similar environments will be strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify training and competency requirements across project sites and corporate functions.
• Develop and implement annual and monthly Learning & Development plans.
• Coordinate technical, safety, behavioral, and soft-skill training for employees.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, HR, and functional teams to identify skill gaps.
• Develop training content, assessments, competency matrices, and training records.
• Coordinate induction and onboarding training for new employees.
• Track training effectiveness and employee competency development.
• Support skill assessments, certification programs, and career development initiatives.
• Maintain L&D MIS, dashboards, training calendars, attendance, and evaluation reports.
• Travel to project sites across India as required.

Candidate Profile:

• Good understanding of technical/skill-based training and competency development.
• Strong communication, coordination, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and training/reporting tools.
• Willingness to travel to project sites across India.
