Job summary

Godrej Industries Group in India seeks an experienced Plant HR Manager for our Chennai facility. You will oversee manpower planning, recruitment, payroll inputs, and statutory compliance for plant operations, while driving employee engagement and development initiatives.

.role requires handling industrial relations, performance appraisals, attrition control, and liaison with local authorities to ensure ISO and other certifications are achieved.

Qualifications

• Experience in plant HR operations and manpower planning.
• Proven ability to drive payroll, PF/ESIC compliance and statutory provisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage manpower planning for the plant and lead recruitment & onboarding for the plant.
• Ensure contract labour availability and timely wage disbursement with statutory compliance.
• Oversee statutory compliance and legal matters for the plant to ensure 100% adherence.
• Drive employee engagement, welfare and recognition activities at the plant.
• Lead performance appraisal discussions and processes for plant employees.
• Drive Learning & Development initiatives for the plant.
• Implement actions to reduce attrition among on-roll and off-roll staff.
• Provide payroll inputs to corporate and maintain plant HR data.
• Oversee plant premises, canteen, admin and security operations.
• Ensure regular visits to chilling centres and maintain cordial relations with locals.
• Coordinate ISO and other certifications.

• Ensure periodical visits to Chilling Centres.
• Ensure productivity improvement for on-roll and off-roll employees.
• Handling public / people grievances and maintain cordial relations with local population.
• Coordinate for ISO and other certifications.
