Job summary

Captain Steel India Limited is seeking a field sales professional to achieve territorial primary and secondary sales targets. You will manage dealers, distributors, sub-dealers and retailers, expanding the network and driving site/project sales through regular site visits to builders and engineers.

You will generate new business, handle quotations and collections, conduct stakeholder meets, monitor competitors, and coordinate with internal teams for product support.

Qualifications

• Experience in Iron & Steel / Building Materials / Construction Sales.
• Strong experience in Dealer, Channel, Secondary, Site/Project Sales.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively within territory.

• Drive site/project sales through regular visits to construction sites, builders, contractors, engineers and other key customers.
• Generate new business opportunities and convert project/site leads into sales.
• Handle quotations, orders, dispatch coordination, payment follow-ups and collections.
• Conduct dealer, mason, engineer and customer meets to strengthen market penetration.
• Monitor competitor activities, market trends and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams for product-related technical support and issue resolution.
• Maintain regular sales, market visit, site lead and collection reports.

Candidate Profile:

• Experience in Iron & Steel / Building Materials / Construction Sales.
• Strong experience in Dealer Sales, Channel Sales, Secondary Sales and Site/Project Sales.
• Good communication, negotiation, relationship management and commercial skills.
• Must be willing to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
• Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
