Job summary

Drishti Consultants seeks an experienced Engineer with 7+ years in technical sales or application engineering to support customers and partners in India. The candidate will bridge technical and commercial teams, respond to complex product inquiries, and help deliver complete solutions with respect to metal cutting tools.

The role involves field visits, coordinating with distributors, and participating in trade shows or events when needed.

Qualifications

• Engineer background with formal engineering degree and 7+ years of experience in technical sales or application engineering.
• Experience in metal cutting tools industry is highly preferred.
• Ability to bridge technical details with commercial needs and client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support sales team in delivering total solution offers to customers.
• Coordinate between technical and commercial teams and distributor services for projects.
• Visit current and potential customers to understand needs and provide technical guidance.
• Respond to complex technical questions about products and systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems during and after implementation.
• Participate in trade shows and company events as required.
