Job summary

Cygnus Technik India seeks a technically proficient engineer to visit CNC machining and manufacturing companies, study drawings and tooling, and assist with tool and insert selection for turning and milling. The role includes understanding cutting parameters, conducting trials, and coordinating with internal teams to improve tool life and process efficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing or related engineering.
• 13 years of experience in CNC machining, production, tooling or manufacturing.
• Freshers with strong technical fundamentals and genuine interest in CNC machining and cutting tools are welcome.
• Basic knowledge of CNC turning and/or milling.
• Understanding of cutting tools, inserts and tool holders.
• Basic knowledge of cutting speed, feed and depth of cut.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and basic understanding of GD&T.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites.
• Practical CNC machining or tooling exposure will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Visit CNC machining and manufacturing companies to understand machining requirements.
