Job summary

Vijaya Management is seeking a mechanical sales and application professional to lead new business development and manage customer inquiries across PAN India. The role involves preparing technical and commercial offers, coordinating with engineering, and supporting tender processes including GeM.

The candidate should have a BE/B.Tech in Mechanical and 3+ years of sales and application experience, with strong communication skills and willingness to travel widely.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for application, sales and new business development.
• Study customer inquiries including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation aspects and applicable standards.
• Prepare technical and commercial offers and cost sheets.
• Familiar with tendering activities including GeM Portal and government processes.
• Prepare schematics and PI & D as per customer requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering team after order receipt and support project execution.
• Demonstrate products through site visits, presentations and webinars to generate business.
• Train new dealers and sub-dealers in the region network to enhance product reach.

Job description

Role & responsibilities-

• Responsible for application, sales & new business development
• Willing to travel to PAN India basis .
• Responsible for study of customer inquiry including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, environment parameters and international standards like DIN, ASTM.
• Preparation of technical and commercial offer followed by cost sheet.
• Familiar with government organisation tendering activities like GeM Portal etc.
• Preparation of schematics, PI & D of system as per customer requirement.
• Sizing of mechanical components, electronics and instrumental items selection.
• Technical meetings with customer to close offer technically, clarifying deviations in pre-order stage itself.
• Kick of meetings, documents handover to engineering team after order receipt.
• Experience in Grease (Dual Line, Progressive Multiline, Spray) & Knowledge of Oil Lubricating systems (Pre- Jacking, HP-LP System, etc) preferred
• Demonstration of products through site visits, presentations, webinars etc.to give knowledge to customer for generating business
• Appointing & training new dealers & sub dealers in the region network to enhance product reach & business targets for PAN India basis.
• Responsible for account receivables from customers & as well as from Channel partners
• Work with and monitor other company functions in a matrix reporting relationship to ensure compliance with all client and company requirements.
• Elevate barriers to successful project execution as necessary.
• Good Communication Skill.
