Job summary

IAssess Consultants LLP is seeking an Application Engineer to drive sales growth and provide technical pre-sales support across Chennai, Delhi NCR, Pune, and Ahmedabad. The role requires 2–5 years of experience and a BE in Mechanical engineering.

You will build strong customer relationships, demonstrate adhesive solutions, and coordinate with internal teams while traveling within the territory to meet clients and close deals.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in relevant field.
• B.E. Mechanical is required.

Responsibilities

• Drive ambitious sales growth and business development in assigned focus markets.
• Develop a strong understanding of adhesive product technologies and applications.
• Handle pre-sales activities and provide technical consultation to customers.
• Understand technical specifications, operational limitations, and engineering principles of products.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting.
• Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at large manufacturing companies.
• Build and maintain a healthy project pipeline to support business growth.
• Meet prospective clients regularly, understand their requirements, and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Conduct product demonstrations and provide ongoing customer support.
• Submit sales reports on time and adhere to deadlines.
• Coordinate with internal teams including the Reporting Manager, Purchase Manager, Accounts Team, and Management Team.
• Regular travel within the assigned territory is required.
