Job summary

IAssess Consultants LLP is seeking an Application Engineer to drive sales growth and deliver technical support across multiple locations, including Chennai, Delhi NCR, Pune, and Ahmedabad. The role requires 2–5 years’ mechanical engineering background and hands-on knowledge of adhesive technologies.

Responsibilities include presales activities, product demonstrations, customer consultations, and building a strong pipeline through regular client engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical with 2–5 years’ experience.
• Willingness to travel within the territory.
• Experience with adhesives or related products is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strong understanding of adhesive product technologies and applications.
• Handle pre-sales activities and provide technical consultation to customers.
• Understand technical specifications, operational limitations, and engineering principles of products.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting.
• Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at large manufacturing companies.
• Build and maintain a healthy project pipeline to support business growth.
• Meet prospective clients regularly, understand their requirements, and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Conduct product demonstrations and provide ongoing customer support.
• Submit sales reports on time and adhere to deadlines.
• Coordinate with internal teams including the Reporting Manager, Purchase Manager, Accounts Team, and Management Team.
• Regular travel within the assigned territory is required.
