Job summary

Sealmatic India Ltd. seeks a BE Mechanical with at least 3 years of experience in mechanical seals or rotary equipment to drive sales of industrial equipment in oil & gas sectors. The role involves understanding customer needs and engineering adaptations of products for Mumbai region customers.

You will travel to customer sites, establish accounts, provide technical and engineering information, train customer staff, and collaborate with the technical team to prepare offers and reports.

Qualifications

• BE Mechanical with minimum 3 years' experience in the field or mechanical seals or rotary equipment
• Exposure to selling industrial equipment in oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical industries

Responsibilities

• Identify customer requirements and sell industrial equipment in oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical sectors.
• Provide product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.
• Establish new accounts and service accounts by identifying potential customers; planning and organizing sales call schedule.
• Determine improvements by analysing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, or service applications in customer environment.
• Gain customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements.
• Submit offers by conferring with technical support staff.
• Develop customer's staff by providing technical information and training.
• Prepare sales reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Job description

BE Mechanical with minimum 3 years' experience in the field or mechanical seals or rotary equipments (pumps, AMKR etc) and having exposure to selling industrial equipment in oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical etc.

Selected Candidate will serve customers by identifying their needs; engineering adaptations of products, equipment and services. Travelling to customers spread across Mumbai Region .

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand and selling industrial equipment in oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical etc.
• Provide product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.
• Establish new accounts and service accounts by identifying potential customers; planning and organizing sales call schedule.
