UMS Edutech is seeking an empathetic Academic Counsellor to guide prospective students and working professionals in choosing suitable academic programs for their career goals. You will handle inquiries via calls, WhatsApp, and email, assess educational backgrounds, and provide clear information on programs, duration, fees, and career opportunities.

Build relationships and support applicants through every step from inquiry to admission.

Qualifikationen

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
• Student-first and consultative counselling approach.
• Ability to understand student needs and recommend programs.
• Strong follow-up, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
• Target-driven in a performance-driven environment.
• Graduate in any discipline; 0–2 years sales experience.

Aufgaben

• Counsel prospective students and working professionals on suitable programs based on their educational background, career goals, and professional aspirations.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls, WhatsApp inquiries, emails, and other communication channels to engage with prospective learners.
• Understand customers requirements and provide clear and accurate information regarding programs, eligibility, admission procedures, duration, fees, and career opportunities.
• Follow up consistently with prospective students and convert qualified leads into successful admissions.
• Build strong relationships with prospects and provide end-to-end support throughout the counselling and admission journey.
• Achieve individual and team admission/sales targets within defined timelines.
• Address student questions and concerns professionally and provide a positive counselling experience.

About the Role

We are looking for a driven and empathetic Academic Counsellor to join our team and guide prospective students and working professionals in choosing the right academic programs for their career goals.

The ideal candidate should be confident in communication, comfortable with sales targets, proactive in follow-ups, and genuinely interested in helping learners make informed decisions about their education and career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Counsel prospective students and working professionals on suitable academic programs based on their educational background, career goals, and professional aspirations.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls, WhatsApp inquiries, emails, and other communication channels to engage with prospective learners.
• Understand customers requirements and provide clear and accurate information regarding programs, eligibility, admission procedures, duration, fees, and career opportunities.
• Follow up consistently with prospective students and convert qualified leads into successful admissions.
• Build strong relationships with prospects and provide end-to-end support throughout the counselling and admission journey.
• Achieve individual and team admission/sales targets within defined timelines.

Shift Timings - 2 pm to 11 pm (UK) & 8 pm to 5 am (US)

Working Days- Monday to Friday
