Job summary

Veolia Ireland is seeking a Construction Site Agent for a 12-month specified purpose contract. The role involves leading a civils-heavy site, coordinating with design, project management and on-site teams to ensure safety, quality and programme delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a civil/trade background, 10 years' site experience in water/wastewater projects, and relevant IOSH certification. Travel across Veolia sites in Ireland may be required.

Qualifications

• Civil or Trade background with progression to management
• 10 years' experience on multi-discipline site projects, preferably water/wastewater
• IOSH SHE for Construction Site Managers or similar is preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage all site activities for Veolia on site
• Develop and maintain H&S file on site
• Coordinate with Project Manager for plan, drawings and safety proposals
• Promote high standards of health, safety, quality and environmental management
• Supervise site team and subcontractors per Veolia toolkit standards
• Review RAMS, lift plans and safety plans from subcontractors
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and attend client meetings
• Ensure project programme targets and timely completion of works
