Veolia Ireland is seeking a Construction Site Manager to lead site teams across multiple projects in Ireland, including heavy civils and wastewater works. The role focuses on safety, quality and timely delivery, with travel to Veolia sites nationwide.

You will manage subcontractors, maintain H&S files, coordinate with Project Manager and clients, and ensure compliance with RAMS, lift plans, and the project quality plan. A civil/MEP background and driving licence are preferred.

Qualificações

• Civil or Trade background with progression to management level.
• 5 years’ experience on multi-discipline site projects, preferably water or wastewater.
• Up to 10 years’ site management in water/wastewater.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Excellent oral and written reporting skills.
• Good communication skills required.
• Computer literacy in Google Sheets, Docs & email.
• IOSH SHE for Construction Site Managers or similar preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Manage, operate and run all site activities on behalf of Veolia.
• Develop and maintain H&S file on site.
• Plan the project with the Project Manager and ensure drawings and safety proposals are agreed.
• Promote and maintain the highest standards of health, safety, quality and environmental management.
• Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site team and subcontractors.
• Identify, prevent and report unsafe behaviour, defects and events on site.
• Assist with project handover and ensuring defect/snag-free completion.
• Carry out regular H&S audits and toolbox talks.
• Review RAMS and Lift Plans from subcontractors to ensure safe methods.
