Job summary

Veolia Ireland is seeking a Construction Site Agent to lead a civil works on a water/wastewater site in Co. Louth. The role involves managing site teams, coordinating with PMs and client, ensuring H&S and quality standards, and maintaining schedules across heavy civils works.

You will oversee subcontractors, review RAMS and plans, run toolbox talks, and drive continuous improvement on environmental and safety performance while reporting progress to the Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Civil or trade background showing progression to management level.
• 10 years' experience on multi-discipline site-based projects (water/wastewater).
• Full clean driving licence.
• IOSH SHE for Construction Site Managers or similar.

Responsibilities

• Manage, operate and run all site activities on behalf of Veolia.
• Develop and maintain H&S file on site.
• Plan project effectively with Project Manager and ensure programme is in place.
• Promote and maintain high standards of health, safety, quality and environmental management.
• Oversee site team and subcontractors to Veolia standards.
• Review RAMS and lift plans to ensure safe working methods.
