Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Construction Site Agent for a site-based role in Ireland. You will lead the construction team on heavy civils works, including sheet piling, cofferdams, dewatering, and pipework installation, with emphasis on H&S and quality.

Travel to Veolia sites across Ireland may be required. The role requires a Civil/Trades background with 10 years of site management experience, a full driving licence, and strong reporting and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Civil or Trade background showing progression to management level.
• 10 years’ site-based management experience in water/wastewater or civil construction.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Excellent oral and written reporting skills.
• IOSH SHE for Construction Site Managers or similar is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and run all site activities on behalf of Veolia.
• Develop and maintain the on-site H&S file and ensure plan alignment with the Project Manager.
• Lead and coordinate the site team and subcontractors to meet programme and quality targets.
• Carry out H&S audits, toolbox talks, RAMS and lift plans as required and report progress.
