Job summary

Veolia Ireland seeks a Construction Site Agent for a permanent role in Cavanhill, Co. Louth. You will lead the on-site construction team and subcontractors on a busy water/wastewater project, ensuring safety, quality and timely delivery.

You will develop and maintain H&S documentation, work with the Project Manager on programme planning and coordinate with multiple stakeholders. Travel to Veolia sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Civil or trade background with progression to management.
• 10 years’ experience on multi-discipline site-based projects.
• Experience in water/wastewater projects is preferred.
• Full clean driving licence and strong reporting skills.
• IOSH SHE for Construction Site Managers or similar is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the construction team and subcontractors on site.
• Maintain H&S files and carry out site audits and toolbox talks.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to align programmes, drawings and safety plans.
• Monitor quality, adherence to RAMS, lift plans and environmental plans.
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and attend client meetings.
• Manage permits, SPA’s, and ensure timely completion of works.
