Job summary

ONNEC is expanding its Ireland team and seeks a Business Development Executive to drive new network solutions business from our Cork office. You will identify prospects, build lines of communication, and schedule meetings with key IT decision-makers.

You will collaborate with marketing, sales and technical teams to qualify opportunities, develop proposals, and close deals that expand ONNEC Irelands footprint in Munster and beyond.

Qualifications

• ICT infrastructure knowledge and ICT sales experience preferred.
• Ability to travel to client sites and attend events as required.
• Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and target new customers for ONNECs Network Solutions business.
• Generate your own pipeline through outbound prospecting, LinkedIn, networking, referrals and industry events.
• Research target accounts, identify key decisionmakers and secure new customer meetings.
• Uncover customer networking requirements and turn these into qualified sales opportunities.
• Build relationships with new prospects, consultants, vendors and partners to create routes into new business.
• Own opportunities from initial engagement through qualification, proposal and close, working with our technical and estimating teams where required.
• Achieve agreed new business, pipeline and annual sales targets.
• Work with Marketing on targeted campaigns designed to generate leads and open doors within priority accounts and sectors.
• Maintain a disciplined sales pipeline with clear next steps and a strong focus on progressing and converting opportunities.
• Increase ONNEC Irelands presence in the Network Solutions market by winning new logos and creating new revenue opportunities.
