Job summary

ONNEC Group is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive IT Infrastructure projects from Dublin. You will identify new customers, build a robust pipeline and develop value-rich proposals in collaboration with sales and technical teams.

Reporting to the Commercial Director for Infrastructure Project sales, you will expand our national footprint. This full-time role requires a proactive, results-driven mindset, strong negotiation skills and the ability to travel for client events.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

We are recruiting for a BDM to join an already well-established department within the company. This is a full-time role, based out of our Dublin office.

The Business Development Manager will report to the Dublin based Commercial Director for Infrastructure Project sales.

The Dublin office is primarily involved in the sale and implementation of IT Infrastructure and Smart Building projects across the country, including the Global Tech., Financial, Pharmaceutical & Commercial environs.

What you’ll be doing as our Business Development Manager:

• Proactively identify, target and engage new customers and key decisionmakers.
• Build and manage a strong new business pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals, LinkedIn and industry events.
• Research target accounts and identify upcoming projects and opportunities where ONNEC can add value. Develop relationships with customers, consultants, partners and other key influencers to create new routes to market.
• Own opportunities from initial engagement and qualification through to proposal, negotiation and close.
• Work closely with Sales, Estimating and Technical teams to develop strong customer solutions and proposals.
• Deliver against agreed new business, pipeline and annual sales targets.
• Attend industry events, trade shows and networking opportunities with a clear focus on lead generation and opening new doors.
• Work with Marketing on targeted campaigns to reach prospective customers and key decisionmakers.
• Maintain an accurate and active sales pipeline, with clear next steps and a strong focus on conversion.
• Help grow ONNEC Ireland’s presence by winning new customers and developing new market opportunities.
