Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Construction Site Agent to lead a water/wastewater project on a busy site in Ireland. The role requires directing the construction team and subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality, and programme delivery.

You will liaise with Veolia Design and Project Management Teams, the client and on-site operations, and manage site documentation, risk, and progress reporting. Some travel across Ireland to Veolia sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Civil or Trade background showing progression to management level.
• 10 years' experience on multi-discipline site-based projects, preferably water or wastewater.
• Up to 10 years' site management experience in water/wastewater industry.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Excellent oral and written reporting skills.
• IOSH SHE for Construction Site Managers or similar preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage, operate and run all site activities on behalf of Veolia.
• Develop and maintain H&S file on site.
• Plan project effectively with Project Manager and ensure drawings and safety measures are agreed.
• Promote high standards of health, safety, quality and environmental management.
• Oversee subcontractors, monitor work and enforce method statements and permits.
• Review RAMS and lift plans for safe working methods.
