Sigmar Recruitment is recruiting for a Service Operations Manager for a growing Irish engineering services company in Leixlip, Co. Kildare. You will lead a large field service team and oversee both planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites.

You will drive continuous improvement, develop the team, and enhance operational efficiency while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. A technical background is advantageous but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Service Operations Manager or similar senior role within tech/maintenance teams.
• Proven ability to manage large technical or maintenance workforces.
• Strong knowledge of planned and reactive maintenance operations.
• Experience scheduling, allocating resources and driving performance.
• Ability to implement continuous improvement initiatives and improve efficiency.
• Strong leadership and people management skills with change-driven mindset.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop field service engineers, team leaders and support staff.
• Oversee daily service operations including planned and reactive maintenance.
• Manage scheduling, resource allocation and workloads for efficient delivery.
• Monitor KPIs such as productivity, response times, service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
• Drive accountability and continuous improvement across the department.
• Support growth and development of the service team as the business expands.
• Manage escalations with stakeholders and customers to ensure resolutions.
• Ensure health and safety, quality standards and procedures are followed.
