Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment in Cork, Ireland seeks an Operations Manager for Service Engineering to own day-to-day operations across service, installation and stainless-steel fabrication. You will lead multiple technical teams and report to the Managing Director.

You will set KPIs, drive efficiency and profitability, manage scheduling and budgeting, and collaborate with senior leadership to shape operational strategy. This is a hands-on leadership role with autonomy and visibility.

Qualifications

• Proven background in service/field operations management.
• Experience leading multi-person technical teams and scheduling.
• Strong communication with customers, contractors and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and oversee service, installation and fabrication teams.
• Set and monitor KPIs for productivity, quality, service and performance.
• Oversee scheduling, job management and resource planning across departments.
• Ensure high standards of technical delivery and customer service.
• Coach, mentor and manage performance; drive improvements and cost control.
• Partner with senior leadership on budgeting, strategy and P&L.
