Job summary

BMS Performance Ireland in Cork is seeking a Service Manager to build and lead a dedicated service division within an engineering business. The role focuses on growing preventative maintenance revenue, developing service contracts, and expanding the engineering team.

You'll manage technicians and apprentices, work with sales to identify opportunities, implement KPI-driven processes, and ensure excellent customer service across pharma and industrial sectors.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance or service teams in industrial settings.
• Strong leadership and people-management capabilities.
• Background in pharmaceutical, manufacturing or process environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop the service department and team.
• Grow PPM, service contracts and recurring revenue.
• Develop service agreements and customer SLAs.
• Collaborate with sales to identify commercially viable opportunities.
• Drive KPIs, procedures and best practice in service operations.
• Oversee resource planning, scheduling and budgets.
