Independent Search Solutions Ltd is recruiting a Service Manager to lead a team of service engineers and coordinators in West Kerry, Ireland. The role involves 2–3 days on-site weekly with flexible work-from-home options and travel to client sites across Ireland.

You will drive customer support, service delivery, and revenue opportunities while coordinating with the Technical Lead to maintain service quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in a similar service/support management role.
• Proven people management and leadership experience.
• Ability to analyse data and make strategic decisions.
• Proficiency with CRM/ERP software and MS Office.

Job description

My client who distributes a range of Equipment found in Medical Practices has a position for a Service Team Manager.

Managing Field Service Engineers (6), In-House Engineers (1), Telephone Support Engineers (3) and a Co-Ordinator (1) you will need to have previous experience in a similar Service Management role; you do not need to be coming from the Medical Device / Healthcare Industry.

Your primary function will be the management of a Team (11), and we envisage you needing to work a min of 2 Days a Weeks on-site in my clients Co. Kerry Offices. With options for Working from Home and Traveling to Client Sites Across Ireland.

Supporting the clients and identifying additional revenue opportunities will be a Key Performance Indicator.

Role:

The Service Manager at the company is responsible for leading and managing the Service Teams to deliver a high level of customer service. This role involves developing effective strategies, building strong customer relationships, monitoring performance, and ensuring the team meets targets. The Service Manager works closely with the Technical Lead to ensure that service quality and compliance are maintained at all times.

• Responsible for maintaining high-performance levels of service-related processes and the ability to implement improvements where necessary


• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions


• Responsible for Service delivery performance, meeting customer expectations and driving future demand


• Responsible for delivery of Service improvements, ensuring that actions are implemented on time and within budget


• Leading people management, including staff recruitment and retention, performance appraisals, training and mentoring

Experience:

• Third level Degree


• 5-8 Years’ Plus experience in a similar role (Service Support Management)


• People management and leadership experience essential


• Ability to analyse data and make strategic decisions


• Proficiency in CRM/ERP software and Microsoft Office Suite
