Sedgwick Ireland is seeking an Experienced Motor Claims Handler to join our expanding Motor Division. You will manage a portfolio of motor damage claims with minimal supervision, mentor junior colleagues, and contribute to growth while maintaining high standards of accuracy and timely settlements.

The role is based in Ireland with home working, offering a competitive remuneration package and opportunities for professional development through the Insurance Institute and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience managing motor claims portfolio with 150+ files and targets.
• APA qualification is the minimum; CIP and MDI progression expected.
• Strong knowledge of motor claims processes, liability, indemnity and coverage decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of motor damage claims with minimal supervision.
• Mentor and train less experienced colleagues in the division.
• Make accurate liability and quantum determinations to support settlements.
• Negotiate settlements with clients and claimants.
• Maintain high-quality documentation and timely claim closures.
