Job summary

Fruition Group Ireland is looking for a Senior Business Analyst for a Dublin-based technology team on a daily rate contract. Hybrid work is available with an initial 6-month term and good extension prospects.

The role requires leading analysis on digital projects, stakeholder workshops, and detailed documentation of business and technical requirements, including epics and user stories. Strong communication and senior stakeholder influence are essential.

Our Dublin based client are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join their technology department on a daily rate contract

Excellent daily rate on offer with this position. Initial 6 month contract with good opportunity for long term extension

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage analysis activities on various digital projects, goals and business initiatives.
• Build strong and lasting professional relationships with Product and Business Owners, while being able to understand the goals and targets.
• Deal with any issues/blockers that could prevent the team members from completing work in a timely in accordance to a project and programme
• Contributing and collaborating on ways to improve the team and the methods of working.
• Identifying gaps and raising processes or solutions to any issues
• Expertise gathering and documenting business and/technology requirements and creating scope statements.
• Experience of working on IT Migrations or Integration type projects where there is a mix of business and system data to analyse, map and work with teams on agreeing approaches.
• Comfortable coordinating activities within a project (not full project management but may need to coordinate sub-streams or activities related to business analysis)
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
• A proactive and can-do attitude

Experience Required

• Relevant 3rd level qualification with or equivalent work experience.
• Good working knowledge of Waterfall and Agile ceremonies.
• Excellent communication skills with experience for facilitating workshops that can have multiple stakeholders involved.
• Must be able to influence business and technical owners.
• Strong documentation skills with a capacity to present facts. Must include business requirements/scope statements, epics and user stories.
• Experience in managing 3rd party vendors and dealing with issues and challenges that arise.
• Strong commercial and product strategy awareness from your experience in a commercial setting.
• An enthusiastic team member who works will in the team environment
• Excellent analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Well organized and consistent in the area of time management
