The Role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Business Analyst to join a growing team supporting projects across multiple locations throughout Ireland.

This is a highly varied and people-facing position that will involve significant travel to client and operational sites across Ireland. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand how their teams currently operate, gather business requirements, identify opportunities for improvement and support the delivery of new processes and systems.

The position would suit someone at the beginning of their Business Analysis career who is confident communicating with different stakeholders, enjoys getting out into the business rather than being desk-based, and is keen to develop their BA and project experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel regularly to sites and locations throughout Ireland to meet with stakeholders and understand their requirements.
  • Gather, document and analyse business and functional requirements.
  • Meet with users to understand existing processes, challenges and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops and requirements-gathering sessions.
  • Document current-state and future-state business processes.
  • Create process maps, workflows, user stories and supporting documentation.
  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies and opportunities to improve business processes.
  • Work closely with project, technical and operational teams to translate business needs into clear requirements.
  • Support system implementations, process changes and wider transformation initiatives.
  • Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scenarios, issue tracking and feedback.
  • Maintain clear project documentation and provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Build strong working relationships with teams across different locations.
  • Support senior Business Analysts and Project Managers across the full project lifecycle.
About You

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Approximately 1–3 years' experience in Business Analysis, project support, process improvement or a similar role.
  • A strong interest in developing a career as a Business Analyst.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence dealing with stakeholders at different levels of an organisation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to gather information and turn it into clear, structured requirements and documentation.
  • Experience with process mapping, requirements gathering, user stories or UAT would be advantageous.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • The ability to work independently and manage a changing workload.
Travel Requirement

This position requires a significant amount of travel throughout Ireland.

The successful candidate must be comfortable travelling regularly to different sites and spending a considerable portion of their working week away from a fixed office location.

A full Irish driving licence and access to a car are essential.

There may occasionally be a requirement for overnight stays depending on project and site locations.

Ideal Background

You may currently be working as a:

  • Junior Business Analyst
  • Graduate Business Analyst
  • Business Analyst
  • PMO Analyst
  • Business Systems Analyst
  • Process Analyst
  • Implementation Analyst
  • Operations Analyst
  • Junior Consultant

We are particularly interested in candidates who are adaptable, personable and comfortable working directly with people on-site. Extensive BA experience isn't required — attitude, communication skills and the willingness to learn are equally important.

What's on Offer

This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to gain broad Business Analysis experience while working across a variety of projects, stakeholders and locations.

You'll gain hands-on exposure to requirements gathering, process improvement, stakeholder management, system implementation and project delivery, with the opportunity to develop into a more senior Business Analyst position over time.
