Job summary

PFH Technology Group is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst for a Dublin-based client. The role leads complex IT and transformation initiatives, driving end-to-end business analysis in a structured, regulated environment.

You will lead requirements elicitation, documentation, and design, ensuring traceability and adherence to governance standards while coordinating with stakeholders across multiple projects and timelines.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Business Analysis / Business Systems Analysis experience.
• Experience in regulated/public sector environments desirable.
• Strong requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation (BRD/FRD/User stories).
• Experience with RTM and UAT in Agile/Waterfall/hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project definition artefacts including legislative impact assessments, business case, risks, and technical assessments.
• Lead requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation (BRD, FRD, user stories).
• Develop current and future-state process maps using BPMN/Lean.
• Conduct feasibility studies and business modelling to support solution design.
• Translate business needs into solution designs aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
• Ensure requirements traceability (RTM) and support UAT planning and execution.
• Identify and manage risks, impacts, and dependencies across systems and stakeholders.
• Develop training materials, user guides, and adoption artefacts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive process optimisation and organisational change.

Overview:

PFH Technology is partnering directly with a Dublin based Client who seeks a Senior Business Systems Analyst (7+ years' experience) to lead complex IT and transformation initiatives within a structured, regulated environment. The role involves driving end-to-end business analysis, supporting system integration, and delivering scalable, secure solutions aligned with enterprise architecture and governance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare project definition artefacts including legislative impact assessments, business case, risks, and technical assessments.
• Lead requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation (BRD, FRD, user stories).
• Develop current and future-state process maps using structured methodologies (e.g., BPMN, Lean).
• Conduct feasibility studies and business modelling to support solution design.
• Translate business needs into solution designs aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
• Ensure requirements traceability (RTM) and support UAT planning and execution.

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years of Business Analysis / Business Systems Analysis experience.
• Strong expertise in process mapping, business modelling, and Lean methodologies.
• Experience working in regulated/public sector environments (desirable).
• Strong understanding of system integration, APIs, and interoperability frameworks.
• Proven experience with RTM (Requirements Traceability Matrix) and UAT.
• Experience across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models.
• Knowledge of cloud-based architectures and modern application design.
• Understanding of data protection, information security, and compliance requirements.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills (senior-level interaction).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and complex delivery timelines.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (Level 8 or equivalent) in IT, Business, Information Systems, or related discipline
