Job summary

You will lead analysis on complex changes, run workshops, map processes with Visio, and coordinate UAT while aligning with senior stakeholders to ensure project success.

Job description

Our client is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join their team. The successful candidate will support the delivery of strategic business and technology initiatives and will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to analyse business processes, define requirements, and drive successful project outcomes from discovery through to implementation.

• Daily rate contract
• Location: Dublin
• Hybrid attendance pattern

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead business analysis activities across complex change and transformation projects.
• Facilitate requirements gathering workshops and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Produce detailed process maps, workflows, and business documentation using Visio.
• Engage with senior business and technical stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
• Support solution design, gap analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, execution, and defect management.
• Ensure requirements traceability and support successful project delivery.

Key Experience

• 8+ years of professional experience in Senior Business Analyst roles
• Strong expertise in process mapping, business process analysis, and process improvement.
• Extensive experience with requirements elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder workshops.
• Hands-on experience supporting and coordinating UAT testing activities.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Visio for process mapping and documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery environments is desirable.
