Job summary

Dains Ireland is recruiting a Senior Business Development Manager to shape growth across Ireland and international markets. You will develop plans, build a high-value client portfolio, and work with Partners and marketing to convert opportunities and drive ABM campaigns.

The role emphasizes strategic account development, cross-border referrals, and building relationships with business owners and finance leads, with a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and strong analytics.

Qualifications

• Proven business development experience within a professional services environment.
• Strong understanding of accountancy, advisory, financial services or related regulated services.
• Experience with business owners and SME sector.
• Experience leading ABM campaigns and prospect outreach.
• Excellent networking and relationship-building skills with finance leads.
• Entrepreneurial, self-starting mindset and ability to work independently.
• Highly numeric with ability to craft winning proposals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development plans aligned to growth strategy.
• Build a pipeline of client opportunities across target sectors and referrals.
• Drive prospect outreach and ABM initiatives for priority accounts.
• Collaborate with Partners and marketing on campaigns for new client growth.
• Identify cross-selling and multi-service growth opportunities.
• Build relationships with business owners and SMEs in Dublin and surroundings.
• Engage with international network memberships and maximise referrals.
• Generate cross-border referrals (primarily UK) and collaborations.
• Represent Dains Ireland at networking events and industry forums.
• Support Partners with account planning and opportunity development.
• Monitor pipeline performance and report outcomes.
