Job summary

Zendesk is seeking an Account Executive to join our Commercial team across the UK & Ireland. You will build pipeline through outbound prospecting, own the full sales cycle, and articulate the value of our AI-powered platform to C-level executives.

The role requires 4+ years of B2B SaaS sales or solution engineering experience, a track record of exceeding targets, and the ability to navigate multi-month cycles in the UK and Irish markets.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in B2B sales or solution engineering, SaaS/AI preferred.
• Proven track record of exceeding targets.
• End-to-end deal management in UK/Irish market.
• Engage with C‑level and VP executives; value selling.

Responsibilities

• Build pipeline through outbound prospecting, ABM research, referrals, events, and targeted engagement with priority accounts.
• Drive revenue growth by acquiring new commercial customers and expanding platform adoption.
• Own the entire sales cycle from prospecting to negotiating and closing.
• Advise C‑Suite and VP executives on the value of Zendesk's AI-powered platform.
• Lead complex, multi-month sales cycles with strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Pursue cross-sell opportunities to increase account revenue.
