Job summary

Zendesk in Ireland is seeking an experienced Commercial Account Executive (UKI) to grow the commercial customer base and own the full sales lifecycle, with a focus on AI-powered solutions and Generative AI applications. You will build strategic relationships and drive growth across new and existing customers.

You will engage with C-Suite and VP executives, manage complex sales cycles, and collaborate with internal teams to optimize sales strategy and execution. Travel as needed.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of B2B sales or SaaS experience with targets.
• Proven end-to-end deal management, from lead generation to contracting.
• Experience selling in the UK/Irish market.
• Ability to travel as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Drive top-line revenue growth by acquiring new commercial customers and developing innovative strategies for account expansion.
• Own the entire sales cycle, from strategic new business prospecting through negotiation and closing.
• Manage and nurture relationships to maximize satisfaction, retention and partnerships.
• Articulate the value of Zendesk's AI-powered platform to C-Suite and VP executives.
• Cross-sell additional products to existing customers to optimize revenue and profitability.
• Leverage data, intents and adoption history to improve prospecting and retention strategies.
• Lead complex sales cycles with strong communication and value-based selling.
• Maintain a robust pipeline and accurate forecast to exceed revenue goals.
• Build executive sponsorship and relationships with decision-makers and champions.
