Job summary

Farnham Estate Spa & Golf Resort in Ireland is seeking an experienced Reservations Supervisor to lead and develop the reservations team, ensuring exceptional service and accurate processing of bookings. You will manage room reservations, amendments and cancellations, monitor availability and contribute to occupancy and revenue optimization.

The role requires strong supervisory experience, excellent communication, and a customer-focused approach within a premium hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the Reservations team on a daily basis.
• Lead by example and maintain high standards of customer service.
• Manage and coordinate room reservations, amendments and cancellations.
• Monitor availability, rates and inventory to maximise occupancy and revenue.
• Ensure reservations are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Handle guest enquiries and resolve any reservation-related issues.
• Support the training, coaching and development of Reservations Agents.
• Assist with team scheduling and allocation of daily tasks.
• Monitor team performance and provide feedback and guidance.
• Liaise closely with Front Office, Sales, Revenue and other departments.
• Ensure all booking systems and guest information are kept accurate and up to date.
• Assist with group bookings, special requests and VIP reservations.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the guest journey.
• Support the Revenue Manager with reporting and day-to-day operations.
