Job summary

Carton House, a five-star resort and Fairmont property in Ireland, invites applications for a Reservations Supervisor to lead the Reservations team. You will oversee daily operations, manage reservations and guest requests, and work closely with Front Office, Sales, and Revenue teams to optimize occupancy and guest experience.

The role requires prior reservations experience in a 4- or 5-star hotel, supervisory capabilities, strong leadership, and excellent English.

Qualifications

Experience in a reservations role within a 4 or 5-star hotel.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Working knowledge of Opera PMS.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Customer-focused with a passion for hospitality.
Understanding of sales, occupancy, and revenue management.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Excellent spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

Support the day-to-day operation of the Reservations Department.
Supervise and support the Reservations Team to deliver exceptional guest service.
Manage reservations, room allocations, and guest requests accurately.
Maximize occupancy and revenue through effective booking management.
Train and coach team members to maintain service standards.
Liaise with Front Office, Sales, and Revenue teams.
Resolve guest queries and booking issues professionally.
Monitor reservation performance and assist with reporting.
