Job summary

Carton House in Maynooth, Co. Kildare, Ireland, is seeking a Reservations Supervisor to lead the Reservations team and maximise occupancy for a five-star guest experience.

Key duties include overseeing daily reservations operations, coaching the team, managing room allocations, and liaising with Front Office, Sales and Revenue to drive revenue. Prior 4–5 star hotel experience and Opera PMS knowledge are essential; English fluency is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a reservations role within a 4 or 5-star hotel.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Opera PMS.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Customer-focused with a passion for hospitality.
• Understanding of sales, occupancy, and revenue management.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day operation of the Reservations Department.
• Supervise and support the Reservations Team to deliver exceptional guest service.
• Manage reservations, room allocations, and guest requests accurately.
• Maximise occupancy and revenue through effective booking management.
• Train and coach team members to maintain service standards.
• Liaise with Front Office, Sales, and Revenue teams.
• Resolve guest queries and booking issues professionally.
• Monitor reservation performance and assist with reporting.
