Job summary

Farnham Estate Spa & Golf Resort in Ireland is seeking an experienced Reservations Supervisor to lead and develop the reservations team, ensuring exceptional service and accurate processing of bookings. You will manage room reservations, amendments and cancellations, monitor availability and contribute to occupancy and revenue optimization.

The role requires strong supervisory experience, excellent communication, and a customer-focused approach within a premium hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the Reservations team on a daily basis.
• Lead by example and maintain high standards of customer service.
• Manage and coordinate room reservations, amendments and cancellations.
• Monitor availability, rates and inventory to maximise occupancy and revenue.
• Ensure reservations are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Handle guest enquiries and resolve any reservation-related issues.
• Support the training, coaching and development of Reservations Agents.
• Assist with team scheduling and allocation of daily tasks.
• Monitor team performance and provide feedback and guidance.
• Liaise closely with Front Office, Sales, Revenue and other departments.
• Ensure all booking systems and guest information are kept accurate and up to date.
• Assist with group bookings, special requests and VIP reservations.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the guest journey.
• Support the Revenue Manager with reporting and day-to-day operations.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Reservations Supervisor with strong leadership skills. Lead, support and develop the reservations team to achieve operational excellence.Bring your expertise, commercial awareness and commitment to exceptional service.

Requirements

• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is essential
• Previous experience in Reservations, Front Office, Customer Service or a Call Centre environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
• Confident in leading, supporting and motivating a team
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Customer-focused with a professional and positive approach
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
• Confident handling guest/customer queries and resolving issues
• Good commercial awareness and understanding of sales and revenue opportunities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new systems
• Experience with hotel/reservations systems would be an advantage
• Flexible, reliable and able to work effectively under pressure
