Job summary

Mount Juliet Estate, a Marriott Autograph Collection property in Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny, Ireland, invites applications for a Reservations Agent.

You will be the first point of contact for guest bookings, handling inquiries and cross-selling all revenue streams with a friendly, professional approach. Reporting to the Reservations Manager, you will manage reservations, present facilities and pricing, and uphold high standards of service in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in reservations or front office; Opera experience is an advantage.
• Excellent customer care skills.
• Proficient IT skills.
• Excellent command of the English language both written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Manage guests’ reservations, ensuring needs are met to the highest standard.
• Provide details of hotel facilities and pricing information; strong billing skills.
• Promote and upsell estate facilities and amenities.
• Respond to guest feedback promptly and effectively.
• Set accurate expectations prior to guest stay.
