Job summary

Mount Juliet Estate, a Marriott Autograph Collection 5* resort in Kilkenny, is inviting applications for a Guest Services Porter to join the team on a full-time, on-site basis.

Deliver a warm, friendly welcome to guests, assist with luggage and smooth arrivals/departures, handle inquiries, AV setups, promote estate facilities and uphold exceptional service standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in Hospitality is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good communication and friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes guests warmly and ensures a smooth arrival and departure experience.
• Assists with luggage and transports guests around the estate.
• Handles telephone and face-to-face inquiries professionally.
• Operates projector and other audio-visual equipment as required.
• Responds promptly to guest requests and up-sells facilities.

We currently have a fantastic vacancy for a Full-Time Guest Services Porter to join ourteam.

The role:

• Ensuring that each guest to the estate receives a warm and friendly welcome
• Transporting guests throughout the estate and assisting with luggage, ensuring a seamless and comfortable arrival and departure experience.
• Dealing professionally with telephone and face to face inquiries
• Handling projector and other audio-visual set-ups
• Responding to guest requests appropriately and in a timely manner
• Promoting and up-selling the estate’s facilities
• Dealing sensitively with guest feedback
• Other duties as required
• Full Irish Drivers Licence Required
• Available for Full-Time hours
• Previous similar experience
• Good audio-visual and computer skills
• Cash handing experience
• Ability to use own initiative
• Friendly outgoing personality and excellent customer service skills
