Job summary

Schneider Electric Ireland is seeking a Business Development Manager for our Services Division. This remote role involves engaging with customers across Ireland to promote and sell our full suite of services and to build long-term relationships that drive recurring revenue.

You will develop sales plans, manage opportunities in Salesforce, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored service solutions. Expect frequent travel across Ireland to connect with customers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, business development, or account management within energy, automation, electrical, industrial, or technical services environments.
• Technical sales background with B2B experience.
• Proficient in CRM software and MS Office applications.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a sales plan for new business by researching, targeting, and developing opportunities within key market sectors.
• Proactively generate a pipeline of new business opportunities and manage them through CRM (Salesforce) to successful closure.
• Understand customer requirements and propose service solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to support business growth and customer success.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets for service contracts and recurring revenue opportunities.
